It's true! The tigers in India are getting endangered because of habitat loss. People are tearing down forests to make area for farmland, leaving the tigers no where to go and no prey either! Tigers are being moved to mountains in India, where the tigers have enough prey to feed themselves. Some people who study tigers and their migration say that tigers may still be endangered when they are in the mountains, because tigers aren't as adaptable as other types of cats for animals. Half the population of tigers live in India, they get poached for their fur and other items that the tiger bears on its body. Tigers originally lived in foothills, which are being torn down for a lot of different reasons. now they have to be moved somewhere safe.
